A shallow treatment of the problem
First off, the first half is devoted to the story of someone suffering from bipolar disorder, not depression. The doc, as a whole, is not edifying in the least. It simply gives a shallow portrait of a few people who have suffered, and talks nothing of causes or treatments.
Beating the Black Dog.
I consider this to be a very valuable film,.....If you experience depression ...maybe ..a friend or family member, I believe this very touching yet educational film. This is a Documentary for your collection.
