Childhood Memory Flood
I almost fell out of bed (yeah I was being lazy with my iPad) when I saw that Amazon has David the Gnome (as we Nickelodeon kids know it) on Prime Instant Streaming. I was a latch-key kid and Nickelodeon was an afternoon staple for me - I don't remember the exact line up but I do remember seeing and loving the same episodes of David the Gnome over and over!! I am 30 now and this is still just so sweet and whimsical, I am so happy to be able to watch it and share it with my 4 y/o daughter. Now she wants to watch the Mones (she's working on it) all the time, and I love that b/c its so wholesome but really cute and funny, too. David is very concerned about the animals and the nature around him, so for any parents or really anyone who tries to live a more natural life, this is definitely a show to watch or to share with your children. Its just so heartwarming, and that is a hard feeling to find in the cynical world we live in today.
